Warning Violations and One-Strike Violations

3DExport Marketplace has defined two types of copyright infringement and penalizes them differently.

One-Strike Violations

These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Uploading an item that has been created by someone else and is available for sale at 3DExport Marketplace or at other stores.
  2. Uploading an item that has been created by someone else and is available for free elsewhere, if it has a license that explicitly prohibits resale or redistribution.
  3. Uploading an item that contains any kind of malware (virus, trojan, etc.).

Penalty: The account of a vendor committing such a violation will be banned at once, and any money accumulated in the account will be frozen indefinitely.

Appeals: Provided that they can prove their innocence, vendors whose accounts have been banned can appeal to our Support Dept. and ask for reinstatement.

Warning Violations

These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Uploading an item that is not an original work but an output of tutorial software.
  2. Uploading an item that has been created by someone else and is available for free elsewhere, but has no appropriate license prohibiting resale or redistribution.

While warning violations are penalized less harshly, they can still lead to action on our part if the offender fails to respond in due time and address the issue.

Penalty: A warning is sent to the vendor by e-mail, and any offending items are removed from 3DExport Marketplace. If necessary, any money accumulated in the account is frozen for three years, since legal action may be taken against the offender. Naturally, repeated violations will result in harsher penalties.

Appeals: Provided that they can prove their innocence, vendors who received such a warning can appeal to our Support Dept.
